I spotted a churrería and decided to have
churros and
hot chocolate for breakfast as it's not often that I encounter them.
These were folded instead of straight the better to fit on a plate. They were quite satisfactory.
It was market day on the riverside but the stallholders were still setting up so I decided to come back later.

The
Cubes of Memory are around a sea wall at the entrance to the port. The unpainted cubes in the photo are not part of the installation. You can see the bay of Playa de El Sablón in the photo.
These painted cubes were created by Agustín Ibarrola and an army of workers as a public art project. Incidentally the town's
tourism portal links to many tourism resources for Llanes, reflecting the importance of the sector.

I walked back to the town where the small indoor market was operating.
Only a few stores but a lot of local products.
