I was now on the Coastal Path E9 between Llanes and San Antolin. It can be used as an alternative to the suggested route for the Camino Norte. From this vantage point I could see the coast to the east.

The mist is rising from a blowhole in the cliff where sea water has been forced up by the waves.

The headland in the distance is Mirador de la Talá. It's outside the municipal boundary. I wouldn't walk that far.
This was taken from an observation point jutting out to the ocean.
The evening was falling so at this point I retraced my path and descended to the Playa de El Sablón.
With the familiar Hotel Sablón.
